Watson wins sudden-death play-off against Oosthuizen
It was perhaps fitting that a Masters which stretched the limits of sporting incredulity was won by an American eccentric who conjured an outrageous major-winning birdie. Bubba Watson denied Louis Oosthuizen on a day which featured the South African record the fourth albatross in the 83-year history of Augusta's magnificent event.
Watson was in the trees on the second extra hole – the 10th – and needing a miracle. But with that self-taught swing which creates barely imaginable movement he

Harrington must take a ride on 'four-shot swings'
The boy from Northern Ireland slipped on the down escalator yesterday and fell flat on his face. Passing him on the up escalator was the man from Dublin. Padraig Harrington fired off five birdies in six holes from the 13th while Rory McIlroy fizzled out with double bogeys at the first and fourth. Harrington is four-under after a third-round 68 and is poised to lead the Sunday charge from the chasing pack.

Kanye West’s New Single Makes PETA and Theraflu Sick!
Theraflu big wigs are giving Kanye West the cold shoulder over his new song, named after the cold and flu-calming brand.

And they aren’t the only ones miffed by the single..
PETA is also peeved about the song, due to this particular lyric from the loquacious rapper:

West Ham set club record to put the heat on Saints
West Ham maintained their hopes of automatic promotion from the Championship in emphatic style, as they swept Barnsley aside to seal to a club record 12th away win of the season.
Three goals up inside the opening 35 minutes, the visitors moved within three points of second-placed Southampton. Sam Allardyce had suggested that anything other than victory would end his side's hopes of finishing in the top two, but it was soon clear they would avoid any such pitfalls with consummate ease.

Swann breakthrough gives England hope
Graeme Swann claimed two key wickets in the afternoon session as England pushed for a series-levelling victory on day four of the second Test against Sri Lanka.
Swann accounted for Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara - the former departing after another DRS controversy - to leave the home side 139 for four at tea.
That left England 46 ahead, with Mahela Jayawardene (20no) again shaping up to be Sri Lanka's mainstay.

Westwood cuts through all the hype to deliver
What a day for Lee Westwood and Luke Donald. While one of England's great hopes shot a 67 to lead the first round of the Masters, the other was dragged into a disqualification controversy which was nothing to do with any error on his part. Fortunately, the mistake was entirely the Augusta officials and Donald lives to fight another Georgian day.

Alastair Cook falls short of century as England dominate
Alastair Cook fell six runs short of his 20th Test century but England were still in position to build a big first-innings lead after the third morning of the second Test against Sri Lanka.
Cook nicked Tillakaratne Dilshan to slip on 94, equalling his best score of the winter in a stoic 278-ball knock.
That formed the centrepiece of England's 239 for two at lunch, with the tourists just 36 behind.
Jonathan Trott was 62 not out having been in fluent touch, with Kevin Pietersen on 18no.

Bunce on Boxing: Amateurs get serious as London eliminators loom
The Olympic dream has moved closer for seven British boxers after the national coach, Robert McCracken, named his squad for the final qualification tournament.

Henson's career looks over after Blues sacking
"I'm not getting any younger, I'm playing for a contract ... this is it, really." So said the much travelled, much troubled Gavin Henson before his debut for Cardiff Blues in late December and as the Blues must now be added to his long list of former clubs, that may very well be that. The celebrity centre was sacked yesterday after a heavily publicised night on the sauce in Glasgow, followed by some drunken antics with some ice cubes on the flight home. Unfortunately for him, his apology cut no

Djokovic's 6-1, 7-6 victory over Andy Murray in the final of the Miami Masters on Sunday came at the end of a tournament in which he regained whatever momentum he had lost during the break he took after winning the Australian Open.

5 Reasons Why You Need a 50mm – Video by @digitalrev
Last week, I took my Canon 5D M2 with my wife’s Canon 50mm f1.4 lens to a work celebration function – I forgot how much I love using a 50mm! The lack of zoom and prime functionality makes you think a little bit more about your photography, especially composition. After the posting the photos online, I had a couple of queries about the lens and camera that I used. As a result, one of my work colleagues purchased a 50mm.
